Yesterday a real spaceman, today a fictional spaceman. Tom Corbett was the protagonist of a 1950s media empire. On TV, Corbett was played by Frankie Thomas, who was selected as a Special Guest at WorldCon 2006 in Anaheim, but alas he passed away shortly before the convention.
