This Googie restaurant is not far from our house. It hasn’t been the Wich Stand for ages, but the building was refurbished and reopened as vegan/vegetarian Simply Wholesome in 1995. TIL, the Beach Boys “wrote an unreleased song called “Wich Stand””.
