I can recall the Sunset Strip looking just like this, but things have changed — particularly three very prominent things in this artwork. The Marlboro Man came down in 1999 when tobacco companies agreed to an advertising ban. Tower Records is still a landmark, but it hasn’t been a Tower Records store since bankruptcy in 2006. Finally, KNAC Pure Rock left the airwaves in 1995.
