Sort of on a radioactivity kick here. Once upon a time, say in 1912, when we didn’t know so much about radioactivity, the snake oil salesmen touted its healthy properties.
The Radium Ore Revigator was patented in 1912 and thousands were made. The idea is that you filled the crock with water, which was irradiated by the radium ore that lined it. And then you drink the irradiated water for its health benefits.
