One of the original ball players from the AAGPBL (aka A League of Their Own) passed away at 97. Her estate sale had just a ton of great sports memorabilia from the ‘girls’ league and a few of the boys as well. I thought it was funny she had a couple signed/inscribed photos of Russell ‘The Professor’ Johnson, who professed he “love[d] lady ball players”.
