What is it? It was a mystery, but fortunately, it has a prominent name and I have the Googles. It is a manual block ice shaver. Hatsuyuki makes a lot of electric ice shavers, but they still have the HA-110S manual one with “Nostalgic classic design”. I get the feeling this is the equivalent of a ‘nostalgic’ popcorn popper, but for Japanese shave ice.
