Why stop at potatoes? Apparently Hasbro didn’t, although Cooky and Katie were news to me. Maybe they didn’t want to give the impression that Mr Potato Head ‘played the field’, as it were. Not to mention the fears of miscegenation. Hence Mrs. Potato Head won out.
