Cinerama Corporation presented films in their stupendous tremendous 3-panel Cinerama film process. This was the 5th film to be released, with some fictional vignettes set among Hawai’i and the South Seas, with some occasional narration from Orson Welles. There is now a Blu-Ray release, evidently emulating the 3-panel display by digitally curving the images. NY Times review of this 1958 film.
