Christ Knocking on the Door Kerosene Lamp

OK, that’s an awfully specific description of what Jesus is up to. This must be ‘a thing’, as they say. And it is!

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Revelation 3:20

Not sure how we get from that to a kerosene lamp commemorating it, but one chain in the link is a painting by pre-Raphaelite William Holman Hunt. Hunt’s second larger version of The Light of the World went on a world tour before winding up in St. Paul’s in London. It would make sense for the image on the lamp to be this painting, but it isn’t — it’s a cheap Chinese knock-off it seems.
