Definitely a WTF and one that required a long-dormant braincell to unravel. It was a weird feeling to see this caricature in embroidery and a lightbulb go off: Chico and the Man. A 1970’s TV series with Jack ‘Grandpa Joe’ Albertson and Freddie ‘untimely suicide effectively ended the series though it limped along for another season’ Prinze. This particular image is based on a TV Guide cover by the legendary Hirschfeld.
