Beverly Hills Public Nuisance 1954 Rolls Royce

Clearly there’s a story here, and I managed to find it.

The city of Beverly Hills succeeded yesterday in having a $200,000 Rolls-Royce auto declared a public nuisance and barring its owner from parking it in the same Rodeo Drive spot for more than an hour at a time.

Spellerberg has parked the dark blue, chauffeur-driven car in the one-hour spot in front of his National Heritage Gallery of Fine Art for the past seven months. His driver stands by, pumping $15 in quarters into the meter each day.

Some contemporary video coverage from Showtime.
