Everytime I see a Native American basket like this, I think, “This is the thing you find for $3 that winds up being worth a hunnerd grand on Antiques Roadshow.”
But Native American basketry is something else I don’t know anything about, so I’d be out $3, and have a nice basket stamped ‘Made in the Philippines’.
