Comic books are a common find at estate sales; sometimes a few, sometimes a few dozen long boxes crammed full of them. Out of the thousands in this particular collection, I chose this Wonder Woman image primarily because it has Aquaman on it. Bonus that the two heroes are battling Mars, Bringer of War.
My pal Negativsteve is a comic who likes comics. But… he does not like Aquaman. So one might think I’m being needlessly cruel. I’ll try to make it up to him with this other find, from a different estate sale with a very different collection. Dude’s got a trident, so that goes with the theme, but this collection was labelled by the estate agent as “Lots of gay bondage artwork”. Honestly, I don’t know if Steve would be into that, but I know he’s into it more than he’s into Aquaman.
