This was a good weekend for rusty and rural estate sales. This Ford Fairlane has seen better days. Fortunately for me, there’s a nicely restored one that I see a few times a week when I take a walk at lunchtime around my office near LAX. Looks a lot like this one, because it is. I’ve come to the conclusion that the vanity plate (and nom du punk) is the word ‘slug’ enunciated very slowly. That’s my story, anyway.
You may be wondering how you’d get that thing out of the field. Not to worry. They also had a crane for sale. This may be another first.
